Lime Crime Beauty Haul

Hey

So from Beauty Blogs as well as YouTube Beauty Gurus, mostly Shaaanxo, I've heard about Lime Crime and their amazing lipsticks.  Looking through their range they have unique colours, which greatly fascinated me and I knew I had to have some.

There are a number of websites where you can buy them and they are the same price of $29.  I bought mine off Pagan Marie Boutique which is a New Zealand site based in Christchurch.  The hardest part was choosing which one to buy first as there were a number I wanted, so I will definitely be back and buying some more.

The colour I decided to go with first was Geradium.  This colour is a bright but not too bright pink, as you can see below, and when I saw it I fell in love as I have a bit of an obsession with the colour pink.  The lipstick is very creamy and goes on nice.  It also has a pleasant smell, with a slight hint of vanilla.  I also love the packaging of it as it's purple, sparkly and has a unicorn on it which is kind of awesome.

Hope you enjoyed this post, I have also bought some NYX products and will do a post on them next. xoxo.

Pantheon

Hey

So as well as being obsessed with beauty, shopping and art I am also really interested in the ancient world, most particularly Ancient Rome.  One of the courses I took for university was one on the art and society of Ancient Rome and it was one of my most favourite papers as it combined my two interests.

One of the things we looked at was the Pantheon which is the most amazing building in Rome.  It was built to worship multiple pagan gods, and the building survived as it was used to be a Christian Church as anything pagan was destroyed.

The building is interesting in that the front porch/entrance of the building is a typical rectangle front with a triangular roof but the body of the building is a circular dome.

The columns on the porch and inside the temple look to be all Corinthian style and help illustrate the weightiness of the building. The front porch originally had statures of Augustus and Agrippa, his right hand man which could possibly illustrate the temple being dedicated to them as well as the gods as Augustus was Rome's greatest ruler and Agrippa was who the originally commissioned the building.

Inside the building the floor pattern is made of cut stone, and was made to drain naturally.  decoration columns also line the inside. The are eight recessed areas in which the alternate between being rectangular and circular shape.
The image above show how grand and spectacular the building is and is definitely on dream list of places to visit.

Hope you enjoyed this post, I have once again splurged on make up and have some new products which I will do posts on soon.

Jewellery Lucky Dip

Hey

Haven't been doing posts much since I've been the middle of final exams for uni, but my last exam was yesterday which means I'm done with study for the rest of the year YAY!

So I've posted almost all the stuff I've bought online apart from a Jewellery Lucky Dip which I bought off Once'it.  I've bought one once before and got a cool little heart ring which I really like so I decided to by two this time.

This time I got two chain necklaces which are really cool and could go with any outfit.  One of them is silver and the other is a kind of light reddish bronze colour, not sure how to describe it but its really cool.  Pictures below give a better look at them.

Hope you enjoyed this post, I've bought another thing online (of course) so will hopefully have a post on it soon, but might do another artwork post before that. Comment if you like on what kind of art you want to see.

Beauty Haul

Hey

So I have got most of my online purchases (yay!) and I thought I would share what I got make up and beauty wise.

I am really a newbie at this whole make up thing so right now I'm building up my collection of make up and brushes so I can try to put on make up and not look horrible.  I'm also relying on make up tutorials on YouTube to help me which I hope goes well.

Through beauty blogs and videos I've heard that Real Technique brushes are very good and are also cheap which is a plus.  I brought a Blush Brush and a Setting Brush and hear they can be used for bronzing a powder as well.  I got these of Feel Unique which has free shipping which is awesome and I can't wait to try them.

While shopping for other things I found these to lip glosses I thought I might as well get them as well (typical).  They are both from Rimmel which is a brand I'm obsessed with and they are a nice pinkish red colour which I love.  The 1000 Kisses I got from Asos and is kind of like a highlighter pen that you put on your lips while the Apocalips has a traditional end and does not need much to cover my lips.  Both could be used for day or night with the Apocalips being more night depending on the colour.

Hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to suggest any products that are favourites of yours.
