It's a tale as old as time. I'm bored so start looking at online shops, I find something that I am obsessed with and then buy that said thing. Usually it's makeup but this time they're sunglasses and are rose gold (my weakness).

Demon Road Trilogy | Demon Road + Desolation

Desolation*, the second book in the trilogy, is the most recent to be release and since I had not read its predecessor Harper Collins NZ were nice enough to send me it. The back of the book blurb had mentions of demons and vampires so I was excited to start reading.

Revlon | Super Lustrous Lipstick Rediscovery

Sometimes when you just don't wear makeup that often you kind of forget what products you own. Especially when they're in a draw out of sight and then you have a look and rediscover things, it's like shopping all over again. This happens to me a lot. Today's rediscovery is a Revlon lipstick which I got a couple of years ago maybe, I don't know my perception of time is shot. I am however pretty sure I got it from that makeup clearance place at the Downtown Westfield, R.I.P.

Books to Read in June

I'm pretty sure I've read more books this year than in the last four years, books for essays do not count. I've fallen back in love with reading and I'm always excited to see what new releases there are. Since I've stopped studying I have yearned for the odd book about an artist, movement or museum. I've come to realise I just love to learn and research, however I won't miss the assignments. Once again I overestimated last month so there's a repeated book which I will for sure get to this month.

May Review

Happy June everyone! Winter had arrived although you wouldn't think it looking outside. This is the first day in a long long time where there is not a cloud in the sky, it's the nicest day a part from the slight chill. Winter wouldn't be so bad if it was always like this.
