It's a tale as old as time, free shipping makes me want to buy things. With that said it's probably good for my bank account that most online sites have shipping costs. I am a fan of the formula of these liquid lipsticks, I received Redrum & Unicorn Blood almost two years ago when I was at uni and was just procrastinating from writing my dissertation. Ah those were the days.
Androgyny is a shade that I have been lusting over for a long while now. It was a limited edition shade which was then made permanent which I was stoked about. I'm Shook, however, was very much an impulse buy and is part of the collaboration with Manny MUA. The colour was so gorgeous and unique + the added incentive of free shipping meant that I couldn't resist. I bought both shades off Makeup.co.nz.
Androgyny is a mauve-y pinky brown colour and is unlike any other shade I own. It's also not something I would typically go for but when I saw swatches of it I fell in love. I'm Shook is kind of like a corally warm pink. The colour is very flattering and is my new favourite shade. If anyone knows a dupe for this please let me know cause it would be awesome to find a cheaper alternative.
Both shades are matte and dry almost instantly after applying. They're very comfortable to wear and also don't easily wear throughout the day which is great. The applicator is a nice shape so to manage a clean/sharp application. I always apply a lip liner beforehand as lipsticks always tend to bleed on me.
The lipsticks are NZ $34 each which is quite a bit to splash on a lipstick but then again the formula is quite good.
