March has always been an eventful month for and this one is no exception. I'm also sad to see it end as we're almost a third of the way through the year. 2017 still hasn't felt like it's started for me, I'm still in a lull and I'm waiting for something to pull me out of it. Enough of my ramblings, here's what I've been loving in March.
My Birthday
This will get a mention every year probably as it's the day I was born and also it's an event which breaks up the year in my head. My birthday is always low key. I just lounged around all day, no party and had what I wanted for dinner. I'm at that stage now where I'm getting anxious about my age, more around how I've not done anything really significant yet. I summed up these feelings in a reflections post as well as sharing my birthday gifts in a video.
Carve the Mark*
I finished this early March and I really enjoyed it. I haven't read any of Vernonia Roth's books before and I enjoyed going into a new futuristic world. I plan to film a review and will hopefully be up later in the week.
P&G Event
I don't often go to PR events but if the opportunity is offered to me I figure I should just say yes. Going somewhere and not knowing anybody there usually just makes me run the opposite direction but for this, I stepped outside my comfort zone and got to experience something different and amazing. The event was at a stunning house in Westmere and I learned a lot about some brands including Olay, Venus, Ambi Pur etc. I also got an amazing goodie bag and if you would like to see what was in it let me know. I'll probably do it on Instagram stories as it's easier.
Adele
So I wasn't going to Adele until my sister managed to find and buy some tickets off Trademe the day before. I'm really glad it happened as I knew I would've been so sad at missing out especially with all the pictures/videos/Snapchat and Instagram stories from almost everyone. Of course, I had to get a souvenir and got a shirt which I now wear religiously. The show was the best concert I've ever been to. Not only was her voice amazing she was also hilarious, I laughed more at her show than I've done in a while. And of course, I got to bear witness to the 'bug incident'.
What have you been loving in March?
